1) 업로드된 동영상 아이디어의 저작권은 어디로 귀속되나요?

업로드 된 아이디어의 저작권은 발표자에게 귀속됩니다.


2) 20명 수상자 안에 들려면 어떻게 해야 하나요?

[Bite Me]를 많이 받을 수 있도록 흥미롭고 재미있는 비디오를 만들고 주위 친구들에게 Facebook, Twitter등을 통해 적극적으로 홍보를 하세요.
또한 소프트뱅크벤처스 VC분들에게 높은 평가를 받을 수 있도록 다음의 자료들을 참고해서 짜임새 있는 발표를 준비하세요.

3) 20명 수상자 안에 들면 어떤 혜택이 있나요?

2011년 MIT-GSW에 무료로 참가할 수 있는 혜택을 드립니다. (일반참가: $650) 
소프트뱅크벤처스와 MIT-GSW 조직위원회가 발행하는 인증서를 드립니다.


4) 꼭 창업아이템만 발표해야 하는 건가요?

아니요, 개인의 창업 경험 스토리와 정부에 바라는 창업정책 등 창업과 관련된 다양한 이야기들을 올릴 수 있습니다.
 

5) 학생 또는 한국인이 아닌데 참가가 가능한가요?

네, IdeaBites는 연령/성별/국적 제한이 없는 열린 아이디어 공유 공간입니다. 
소프트뱅크벤처스 관계자 분들의 심사에 있어서도 제한이 전혀 없습니다.


6) IdeaBites 비디오를 올리는데 참가 비용이 있나요?

아니요, 무료입니다.


7) IdeaBites 비디오 길이 제한이 있나요?

1분 15초 길이가 넘어가는 비디오는 심사대상에서 제외됩니다.


8) 한 사람이 최대 몇 개까지 올릴 수 있나요?

한 사람당 올릴 수 있는 비디오 수의 제한은 없습니다. 다만 똑같은 내용의 아이템 동영상을 다수 올릴 수 없습니다.


9) 한 동영상에 여러 사람이 등장할 수 있나요?

아니요, 한 동영상에는 한 사람이 나와서 자신의 아이템 혹은 생각을 발표 해야 합니다.


10) 한 동영상에 여러 아이템을 발표해도 되나요?

아니요, 한 동영상에는 하나의 아이템만 소개 되어야 합니다.


11) 평가에 있어서 영어와 한글 발표 사이의 차이가 있나요?

아니요, 없습니다. 특별히 영어발표를 한다고 해서 가산점을 주지 않습니다.


12)  IdeaBites에 우승하지 않았어도, MIT-GSW에 참가할 수 있나요?

네, MIT-GSW는 참가 제한이 없는 열린 국제 창업 워크샵입니다. 다만 IdeaBites 비 우승자는 일반 MIT-GSW 참가자와 동일하게 참가비를 지불하셔야 합니다. MIT-GSW 일반 참가 접수는 다음 링크를 참고 해 주시기 바랍니다. (http://www.mitgsw.org/register.php)


13) IdeaBites에 수상을 했는데, MIT-GSW에 참가하지 못하면 어떻게 하나요?

MIT-GSW 참가권은 양도 및 판매가 불가능합니다. 소프트뱅크벤처스와 2011 MIT-GSW Seoul 조직위원회가 발행하는 인증서는 지급됩니다.


14) 수상여부는 어떻게 확인하나요?

3월 11일 18시에 홈페이지에 수상여부가 발표되며 이메일로 공지가 갑니다. 반드시 홈페이지와 이메일을 확인 해 주시기 바랍니다. 수상자는 3월 18일까지 참석 여부를 MIT-GSW 조직위원회에게 통보 해야 합니다.

1)    Who owns the copyright of the uploaded video clip?

The uploaded video clip’s copyright belongs to the participant.

2)    What should I do to become one of the 20 winners?

You should create an interesting and creative video, so you can receive the most [Bite Me]. Also, you should advertise your video to your friends via Facebook, Twitter, and other social network services.
Make sure to watch these guides below to be evaluated well by SoftBank Ventures Korea judges.

3)    What are the benefits of becoming a winner?


You will receive a free ticket to 2011 MIT Global Startup Workshop. (fee: $650)

You will also receive a certificate signed by SoftBank Ventures Korea and MIT Global Startup Workshop Organizing Committee.

Do I have to present business idea only?

No, you may also present your entrepreneurship related experiences, policy regarding startup (changes that you want to see in the world), or others.

5)    Can I participate even if I am not a student or a Korean?

Yes, you can. IdeaBites is an open contest to everyone regardless of their age, gender, ethnic background, and etc.

6)    Do I have to pay to upload a video at IdeaBites?

No, you don’t have to pay. It’s free to upload your video.

7)    Is there a limit to the length of a video?


A clip that is longer than 1 minute and 15 second will be excluded from the evaluation.


8)    How many video clips can one person upload?

There is no limitation on the number of video clips that you can upload; however, you can’t upload same item several times.

9)    Can more than two people show up in a video clip?

No, only one person can present his/her business idea or thought in one video clip.

Can I present several ideas in one video clip?

No, only one item can be presented in one video clip. (ONE ITEM PER VIDEO)


11)    In term of evaluation, is there a difference between English video and Korean Video

No, there is no difference. There are no extra points.


12)    Can I participate in MIT GSW even if I didn’t win IdeaBites contest?

Yes, you may still participate in MIT GSW. However, you will have to pay just like other regular attendees. Please register at the following website. (http://www.mitgsw.org/register.php)

13)  What if I can’t participate in MIT GSW even if I won IdeaBites contest?

MIT GSW admission ticket is not refundable or transferable. However, you will still receive the certificate of IdeaBites winner from SoftBank Ventures and MIT GSW Seoul 2011 team.

14)  How do I check the status of a winner?

SoftBank Ventures Korea judges will announce the winner on March 11(Friday), 2011 at 18:00 PM via IdeaBites’ website. We will also announce it via e-mail of the winners (Make sure your e-mail is correct!). The winners have to inform MIT GSW Seoul 2011 team by March 18, 2011 whether to attend MIT GSW workshop or not.
